My Favorite Death Core Bands

Some of my favorite death-core bands. I'd rather not get overly picky about what is and isn't exactly "death-core" so just bear with me here. If it's not on the list it means it's not one of my favorites, also, bands toward the bottom are ones I still like, just not as much as others.
1Despised Icon

Brutal, challenging, smart, edgy, dangerous, and overall intense. Great vocals, too.
2As Blood Runs Black

Just plain a lot of fun to listen to.
3All Shall Perish

Technically stunning, crushingly brutal, and politically aware to boot!!
4The Faceless

The elements of progressive and technical metal that they bring to the table really put them above other
bands.
5The Acacia Strain

The most negative band in America. Heavy as hell, with a sense of humor, too.
6Born of Osiris

I feel that this band experiments and keeps it varied more than many others which earns them many
points in my book.
7Winds of Plague

Fun, epic, tongue-in-cheek death-core. Vocals and breakdowns with keyboards score bonus points.
8Whitechapel

Absolutely the most vile, perverse, and disgusting death-core band out there; which is why I love 'em.
9A Different Breed of Killer

This band, like BoO also mixes it up quite a bit in their progressively-tinged assault.
10After the Burial

Technically brutal, this band mixes math metal into its formula for destruction while keeping things fresh
and catchy.
11Job for a Cowboy

The album Doom is a lot of fun to listen to, as well as headbang and scream alongside.
12Salt the Wound

A little repetitive, but very entertaining and makes excellent use of vocal styles, including pig squeals.
