Angmar
08.24.06 | they just are. |
Jacaranda
08.24.06 | My number one would be Glass Prison :(:(:( |

08.24.06 | Dream Theater doesn't count (well, I'd imagine they DO count in order to figure out what time signature they're in, but you know what i mean) |

08.24.06 | Nice list, I would've included some Mahavishnu, King Crimson or Zappa. |
YDload
08.24.06 | I'm sure YOU would. And then you'd have just another boring list full of extremely homogenous choices! What's wrong with a little fucking variety over here? |
pulseczar
08.24.06 | Uh, mention 3 bands to add some prog and jazz flavour to whatever list I would make, and you go off as if I said Smells like Teen Spirit... are your lists works of art? The Mars Volta is way more homogenous than anything I said anyway. |
YDload
08.24.06 | Do you even know what "homogenous" means? I was trying to say that the LIST would be more homogenous because there wouldn't be a lot of variation among the bands themselves. I wasn't trying to talk about individual bands being homogenous, but it doesn't really matter because TMV isn't like that at all.
There are a lot of bad things you could say about TMV but calling them homogenous just isn't true. |

08.25.06 | Like Eating Glass by Bloc Party has a great drum beat. (i can play it to yay!) |
ChainsawMyLife
08.25.06 | Queen of the Stone Age - Go With The Flow
Mr. Grohl completely tears up this song. I'm not a drummer, and I had to learn this just because I couldn't get it out of my head.
Definitely in my top 10 just for how infectious it is. |

09.10.06 | you do a list of frantic drumbeats and don't even include mastodon or slayer? even if you don't like those bands, you can't deny how frantic the drumming is at times! |
YDload
09.23.06 | Who says I didn't include Mastodon? Can you read? |
