i had a dream two nights ago about rivers cuomo. he invited me into his apartment to show me his collection of action figures of people who kinda sorta look like him. clark kent, fred amisen, buddy holly, the works. they're arranged in a shrine around a buddha statue. i ask him why he doesn't have shinji ikari. he says because he doesn't have glasses. i say you can just put glasses on him. he says he still doesn't see the resemblance. there isn't really a physical resemblance, it's just that they're both beta male weaklings with an affinity for half japanese girls. i don't inform him of this revelation, and leave him to his strange hobby before excusing myself. |
