A giant leap in terms of quality and inspiration, peak metal Leprous. Heavy, original, very much their own sound. Waste of Air is one of the best metal diss tracks, rivaled only by Slayer's I Hate You |

Aphelion
Probably the most controversial take, but I do love this album. People dismissed it as "one more Einar’s solo album," but its symphonic sound remains unique, its arrangements are extremely sophisticated and intricate, and its songs are immediate and memorable. Great marriage of symphonic sophistication and pop music appeal. |

The Congregation
Relistened to the album last months for the first time in some years, was surprised how hard it hits still. The heaviness is still there, and Einar is perfectly balanced here. I used to think that this is a front-loaded album, but no, some songs just take time to hit.
