07.13.26 | Guy looked great for 78 very sad but that’s at least a decently long life. Very hard rip. Event horizon is one of my favorite movies ever. |

07.13.26 | RIP... I feel like all the actors of my childhood and young adulthood are all dropping away one by one. Sean Connery. Ian Holm. Maggie Smith. Sam Neill. Donald Sutherland. Christopher Plummer. Angela Lansbury. Max von Sydow.
Fuck, we literally just lost both Nicholas Brendon AND Anthony Head this year alone, not to mention Michelle Trachtenberg last year (been a really shitty time for Buffy fans).
Just keeps on getting added to every few months. |

07.13.26 | Hell of an actor, man. Event Horizon will forever remain underappreciated and (along with In the Mouth of Madness) just shows what crazy range Sam Neill had as an actor. |

07.15.26 | ye Sam was a class act. Great actor but also a great human. Really huge in my childhood years. Possession is an absolute GEM of a movie and he is fantastic in it. |

07.15.26 | Honestly jurassic park was good but it was probably my least favorite movie I've seen him in. He was absolutely phenomenal in event horizon and in the mouth of madness. And the omen III, which I haven't seen for over a decade, but I remember liking a lot and thinking he was great in it.
Never seen possession but lots of people talking about it with him having just died. Will have to check. |

07.15.26 | Also [2] on great human. I have always loved how thoughtful and warm of a person he was but every interview I see with him he just gets more and more wholesome. Lovely man, need more people like him around |

07.16.26 | Event Horizon is great but Jurassic Park is one of those classics that’s just perfect for me, easily one of my favorite movies, I love pretty much everything about it. |

07.16.26 | @ scuro yeah to be entirely transparent, I prefer jurassic park as a movie to event horizon. I am not a huge fan of horror movies, shit fucks with my head. ESPECIALLY event horizon. If I could point to one singular movie that "scarred me for life" it would absolutely be event horizon without a seconds hesitation. But his performance as Dr. Weir in the movie was flawless. He was WHY the movie was so effective. Not that the other parts/actors were not good, he just took the whole movie to another level. I will never watch it again, but I respect the hell out of his performance in it and I loved him as a human so I will always be a bit sam Neill fan |
