06.08.26 | Surely this list is controversial with fucking presto at #1 lmao
But good list
Missing red barchetta, Middletown dreams, the trees, red sector a, lakeside park
But overall ok, glad you included Tom Sawyer… for some reason I’m seeing dislike towards that song lately when it’s legit one of the best songs ever |

06.08.26 | It's one of those things where a song becomes so beloved that it ends up getting an uno reverse by people who may feel its overrated. That song does get shoved down our throats A LOT. So I get it.
Also Superconductor is an absolute masterpiece of a rock song and I will die on this hill. |

06.08.26 | Well said and agreed.
I think that point can be made on a lot of “hits”. Especially in the days where radio owned the airwaves
Fortunately, I was born beyond a time when radio owned things. Tom Sawyer to me, I pretty much played the song when I wanted to hear it. And when i do happen to hear it on the “radio” these days, it makes me happy
Recently did a discog run of rush (highly recommended). And for some reason I had a preconceived notion about Moving Picures when it came up. Because it was as their “pop” album. However, it isn’t. The band themselves have expressed how difficult the album was to make, particularly Tom Sawyer, they almost left it off the album. It’s inspirational in the sense that even a band at that caliber doubted arguably their best work. Neil said it best, he thought that album was when rush became RUSH |

06.08.26 | I’ll have to jam superconductor tonight |

06.08.26 | It's pretty common to hear contrarians shit talk Side A of Led Zeppelin 4 nowadays. It's the nature of things.
Superconductoooor Superconductoooor |

06.08.26 | Zeppelin 4 is epic. They can fuck right off |
CaliggyJack
06.08.26 | They even have a section of the albums Wikipedia article dedicated to the debate lmao. Like the whole album is a masterpiece why are you getting made just cause Side A has all the major hits? It's so weird. |

06.08.26 | Nice list, though if I were to pick a Presto song (granted, Presto is my least favorite Rush album in general), it would've been Available Light. Such a beautiful closer, and one of my favorite songs of that era of Rush. Superconductor is pretty cool too though
Also, nice to see some Vapor Trails representation here |

06.08.26 | Aww man Presto is one of my favorite albums! |
Koris
06.08.26 | Tbf, even my least favorite Rush albums are still a solid 3/5, so it's not like I dislike Presto. It just happens to be in a weird spot for me, where the band were transitioning out of their synth period but didn't quite know what they wanted to do next. To me, Roll the Bones comes off as a much stronger version of what Presto was going for |

06.08.26 | Pesto is such an interesting album. Seems it brought a lot of new rush fans into the fold at the time |

06.08.26 | Roll the Bones is good too.
I get it though everyone has their likes and dislikes when it comes to Rush. I don't particularly care for AFTK and Hemispheres outside of Xanadu and Circumstances. |
