04.15.26 | pokemon 3 is one of my fave movies period lmao. maybe for nostalgia but when i saw it a few years ago, good god, the vibes were incredible. havent seen Heroes in so long but it was my 2nd fave Pokemovie as a kid. saw I Choose You and Power of Us for the first time a few years back and I Choose You was actually really good imo. Power of Us had good things going for it but i think they tried juggling too much.

04.16.26 | The original MK movie is really impressive in that it is an entertaining and charming martial arts film on it’s own, but it also captures the dark fantasy / horror atmosphere which made me fall in love with those games to begin with, an element which has made me greatly dislike everything after the ps2 era for lacking.
Also shoutout to Uwe Boll, the man admittedly sucks as a filmmaker, but he makes up for it by giving the audience plenty of action and fun gore. His Bloodrayne movie is terrible, but genuinely entertaining. Not just as a “so bad it’s good” movie, but as a movie that’s just fucking fun to watch. Good pacing, tons of gore and boobs. Low IQ, high entertainment director.
With that said, it’s shocking that the new Silent Hill movie is somehow worse than the second one. A shame, cuz the first one is aight |

04.17.26 | His podcast is all over the place idelogically(kinda just an edgelord everyone stupid and everything's crap type of takes) but the more political his movies are the more effort he puts into them. I think his main problem is scripts, the more his performers are willing to improv the better his movies are. House of the dead is one of the worst video game movies, and I watch it every year cause it's a fun time lol. |
