Prog Metal is Boring AF Right Now

I fell out of Alt Metal and Prog Metal a few years ago - and it’s taken me a bit to figure why. Come to realize that my biggest issue is someone “cut the balls off” of Prog Metal, Leaving a lame, limp product. I’m not sure who said - let’s all become Prog Rock with minor flashes of metal - but they blow. Some examples.
