02.05.26 | Part 6 of a 'sort of' countdown of the Top 1000 bands of my life - in terms of both IMPACT and QUALITY, some more one than the other.
Welcome to the seventh highest level of doofcore - positions 401-500! All these bands have had some sort of impact on my taste and/or I've listened to a lot...but now we're starting to feature some of the artists I've played the most in my life. Impact is maybe starting to punch higher than quality in terms of what qualifies?
Lot of childhood/'young adulthood' favourites starting to appear, but also some new discoveries that particularly impressed me knocking about too. |

02.05.26 | Ratings from a long time ago but also I don't know if I've really grown towards funk, wouldn't surprise me if a .5 got added to their albums on revisit though, seems a pattern at the moment. |

I’m wary of the fact we can’t have 400 more (are there even 400 more artists that exist ? Doubtful!)
And yeah Veilburner wow. The Necks. The Gathering are a top 10 band for me these days I reckon. Autechre on the same list tho. Sad. Hehe. |

I feel the first list (Tier 10) had a load of the established 'classic acts' and Rolling Stone Top 1000 type bands and we haven't seen many more since!
There are some very very big names yet to feature. |
