02.03.26 | Part 4 of a 'sort of' countdown of the Top 1000 bands of my life - in terms of both IMPACT and QUALITY, some more one than the other.
Welcome to the seventh highest level of doofcore - positions 601-700! All these bands have had some sort of impact on my taste and/or I've listened to a lot...and this is where I feel we've left the appetisers and are into the main course of bands. As the paraphrased R.E.M lyric would suggest, there's something more substantial about most of the acts here. Multiple good albums, changes in style or genre, etc etc.

The Wolf and Horrific Honorifics efforts were unbelievable. I have 25 on vinyl and gave it a listen for the first time in an age over the weekend and remained well impressed by it. |

02.03.26 | I've only tried the CBP stuff released since 2018 so I need to dig deeper with them - not tried the Horrific Honorifics one either.
One I should make my 'band of the month' for more exploration thinking about it... |
