01.03.26 | And there you have it, 7 years of progress and experimentation. Finally those 2019 demos have been properly recorded in my home studio. Mastered by myself on cassette! There is also a limited tape release.
It sounds like Esoteric Warfare era Mayhem mixed with Nordland era Bathory. If that sounds interesting to you, I urge you to give it a spin. The recording process only took a little over a month, as I became somewhat of a mad scientist, locked away pouring passion over this work daily, much to the dismay of my girlfriend.
The goal was to make the best BM album of the year, and while I canāt speak on its quality, itās a work that I am infinitely proud of, and I hope it has an impact on someone, because it meant a lot to me, and I have drained my soul into it. |

01.03.26 | Just kicked it off and this is already hitting the spot. Will let you know when Iām able to finish! |
Brabiz
01.03.26 | Hell yeah, excited to hear what you think bro. Hope you dig it |
nash1311
01.03.26 | Early thoughts: I love the production, the slower ambient folky sections are my favorite, and the vocals are phenomenal. Iām very surprised this is as high a quality as it is. Amazing stuff really |
Brabiz
01.03.26 | I appreciate that sentiment, itās taken me up until this year to figure out how to mix music properly. Iāve gone like 13 years not double tracking guitars, and itās night and day lmfao. I double tracked the guitar, and turned the drums way the fuck up in the mix.
Makes everything Iāve released prior sound like actual dogshit, so itās exciting to hear that feedback lmao. |
Beardog
01.03.26 | Nice, excited to check this! |

Brabiz
01.05.26 | Testing out the cassette prints, makes the album sound like dog shit. Like, basement dwelling raw BM demo vibes.
May upload a rip at some point. |

01.05.26 | Will check! |
AlkemestRedux
01.05.26 | That sounds kinda great though lol
Listening through it now and the riffs and atmosphere are awesome! The mix gets a little wonky sometimes but it's also black metal. Love the choral/clean vocals, violin and vibey parts too. m/// |
Beardog
01.05.26 | This isn't really my style of black metal but it sounds pretty cool nonetheless. Cannot really get over the polyrhythmic / frantic drums however, they seem to be a bit disjointed from the rest of the music. Agree that the atmosphere here is great. |
Brabiz
01.05.26 | Thanks for checking it out guys, appreciate the kind words and constructive feedback. Hoping to tighten things up a lot for future releases, so Iāll take note of it.
Iāve already started penning some material, very very raw and dissonant. Kind of a 180 from this. Will certainly be paying closer attention to rhythmic cohesion! |
brickhed
01.06.26 | not too much clicked with me. i really don't like oversung cleans (ronnie radke vocals as i call them), the drumming is okay (the drum machine feels weak), and the violin is cool but does not do much for me. i respect it but its just not for me. i do like the dungeon synth influences though.
i am willing to relisten to it for the lo-fi kvlt cassette rip |
Brabiz
01.06.26 | Ronnie Radke vocals? Jesus fucking Christ man, Iām never making music again š |
Ebola
01.06.26 | I donāt listen to much black metal anymore, but this is well done! I particularly like the variety of vocal styles. And I donāt think you sound anything like Ronnie Radke, lol. |
naughtcturnal
01.06.26 | Also listened to this tonight as I was looking for something new to listen to to distract myself and enjoyed it a lot. So many good ideas and your vox are killer. Copped a cassette tape while I was at it |
nash1311
01.06.26 | I know what he/she means by āoversungā, and how thatās something Ronnie does, but this does not feel over sung to me nor do you sound like Ronnie lol |
brickhed
01.06.26 | pls dont quit i wanna hear what else you got
also I guess i have a low tolerance for that type of stuff |
Kimm
01.06.26 | Yooo nice work.
Absolutely love the violin, and the harsh vocals are fire. I'm not generally a fan of clean vocals in black metal but (my own particularities aside), I can appreciate it nonetheless and I think you have a great voice.
'Yearning For The Glory of What Once Was...' is an easy favorite for me after the first listen.
Very impressive m/ |
Brabiz
01.06.26 | @naughtcturnal fuuuuck yeah, thank you! I think my main gripe with this album is that it wasnāt creative enough. I wanna get real weird on the next one.
Be aware that the cassettes sound like trash garbage, and wonāt be a 1:1 translation. In the future Iāll do a legit CD release, but thatās going to be a financial endeavor I donāt want to fuck w rn |
Brabiz
01.06.26 | Thanks Kimm, glad you enjoyed it! |
nash1311
01.06.26 | I will say oddly my YT enjoyment was better than Apple Music. Which is usually the opposite. I donāt know but I didnāt enjoy the production quite as much on AM |
AlkemestRedux
01.06.26 | Let us know when you do! CDs are my jam, so I'll snag one when they're available. |

01.06.26 | Interesting, YouTube compression is trve |
naughtcturnal
01.06.26 | hey man, the trash garbager the better |
nash1311
01.07.26 | Yeah it really might be that the YT compression helped š |
frozencarl
01.07.26 | this is cool as hell man damn |
botb
01.07.26 | You really go all out with every element and I respect the hell out of that. Kind of reminds me of the theatrics of kekht arahk or like early as fuck dimmu borgir. Very eclectic stuff man |
Brabiz
01.07.26 | Hey thanks man, early Dimmu is actually a really great comparison I didnāt think of. Iām a massive fan of For All Tid, especially since itās the first BM album I ever listened to. Iām sure a lot of that bled into much of my music over the years. Great album! |
Brabiz
01.08.26 | Released a new song already, been pumping out a bunch of lo-fi demo tracks

AlkemestRedux
01.08.26 | Oh hell yeah! Gotta peep it. |
Brabiz
01.08.26 | A lot of Deathcrush influence going on here, as well as Gorgorothās first album. |
AlkemestRedux
01.09.26 | I dig it! A lot more straight up tremelo-y black metal. Rips hard |
brickhed
01.09.26 | i like the more lo fi production with more typical black metal. the dungeon synth section is cool, seems like you're focused on keeping the listener engaged. i like it. |
Brabiz
01.09.26 | This will definitely be more the direction I go on the next release, with some added weird shit.
I wish I had EQād the guitars like this on Echoes From Beneath, oh well! |
