Shows I went to in 2025

I might be forgetting one or two but this should be it. By far the most I've been to in a single year, just really had the itch.
1Septicflesh
The Great Mass

February - with Vltimas and Stormruler.

Ex Deo was supposed to be there too but couldn't get into America lol
2Deftones
private music

March = with Fleshwater and The Mars Volta.

One of the more expensive shows I went to. Big stadium.
3Poison the Well
The Opposite of December

April - with Teenage Wrist, Better Lovers, and Glassjaw

I really went for Glassjaw who were fucking incredible
4Denzel Curry
King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2

April - with 454, Kenny Mason, and others I'm forgetting
5State Faults
Children of the Moon

May - with I Promised the World (fka Sinema), Salvinorin-A, Respire, Votive, Eyelet, The Names of Our Friends, concealer.

ZBR Fest night 1. Incredible stuff. Sinema was non-stop stage diving
6Converge
All We Love We Leave Behind

May - with Hell Is Real, Stress Positions, and Big Laugh

check out Stress Positions they're the best local hardcore band in the Chicago area for my money
7Kendrick Lamar
GNX

June - with DJ Mustard and SZA

This was actually the most expensive concert I went to this year. 1k for 4 tickets after fees in seats that were just fine lmao. But hey Kenny and SZA played almost their whole discogs it felt like, worth
8Killswitch Engage
Killswitch Engage

July - with Alpha Wolf, Amity Affliction, The Devil Wears Prada, I Prevail, Beartooth, and Parkway Drive

Summer of Loud "festival". Lawn seats all got turned into actual seats due to lack of ticket sales which is technically an upgrade but meant no mosh pit so ehhhh
9Haywire (USA-MA)
Conditioned For Demolition

July - with Si Dios Quiere, Haytebreed, and Juicebox

GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY RUN YOU OVER LIKE A TRAIN DID YOU HEAR ME I SAID GO FUCK YOUR SELF
10The Acacia Strain
You Are Safe From God Here

July - with Tribal Gaze, No Cure, Bodysnatcher, and Ingrown

All my friends are No Cure stans
11Jeff Rosenstock
HELLMODE

September - with Ekko Astral and PUP

JR and PUP both put out mediocre records recently but they still kill live
12Little Brother
The Minstrel Show

September

RIP to the legends
13Weird Al Yankovic
Straight Outta Lynwood

September - Riot Fest

Weird Al was on at the same time as Knocked Loose so I ran back and forth between the stages lmao
14Weezer
The Blue Album (Deluxe Edition)

September - Riot Fest
15Jawbreaker
Dear You

September - Riot Fest

Green Day cut off Jawbreaker's set early so they could play Bohemian Rhapsody like fuckin clowns
16Deltron 3030
Deltron 3030

September - with Kyle Rapps, Lealani, and Kid Koala
17The Callous Daoboys
I Don't Want to See You in Heaven

September - with Your Spirit Dies and UnityTX
18Deafheaven
Lonely People With Power

October - with I Promised the World (Sinema) and Harm's Way

Strangest venue I saw a show at, old movie theater with steps leading down to the raised stage so no real pit area.
19End It
Wrong Side Of Heaven

October

Ok so actually I DIDN'T see these guys, I had tickets to see em (with Si Dios Quiere opening go figure) but then my buddy's band had their debut show that night so I went to that instead. Stream Tommy Nitro if you like 2000s post-hardcore.
20The Black Dahlia Murder
Servitude

October - with Shadow of Intent and Lorna Shore
21Three 6 Mafia
Most Known Unknown

October - with too many fucking artists to count

Wildest show by far, Gods of Chaos. Mixed bill of hardcore bands and memphis rap. Busted my knee in the Terror pit kinda early lmao
22SOUL GLO
Diaspora Problems

November - with Consensus Madness and Stress Positions

once again listen to Stress Positions
23Danny Brown
Stardust

November - with femtanyl and underscores

Show with the most open LGBTQ and furry representation in the audience lol. awesome show
24Foxing
The Albatross

December - with Pool Kids

Played a lot of Dealer this evening
25Foxing
Foxing

December - with Pool Kids

Had to see em both nights. RIP
