| 2025 Concerts
Another great year volunteering at Ameris Amphitheater. Not a ton of metal shows - but worked and/or saw my share there in 2025, as follows. | | 1 | | Billy Idol Dream Into It
5/9/25. With Joan Jett as the opener. Wasn't working at the top of the lawn, so could only hear the concert. Both sounded great - and forgot I knew so many Billy Iodol tracks like "White Wedding", "Rebel Yell", and "Cradle of Love". | | 2 | | The Warning Keep Me Fed
5/22/25. The Warning opened with a blistering set - all tracks from Keep Me Fed. Brief, but high energy and really packed a punch. | | 3 | | Halsey The Great Impersonator
5/22/25. Halsey closed. Great show, saw this one from the top of the lawn. Most loved the Halsey songs off of "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power", with an NIN/industrial bent - including the title track, "Nightmare", and "You Asked for This". | | 4 | | Stick Figure Wisdom
7/1/25. Just heard this show, as not working on the lawn. Stephen Marley opened, playing some of his father's classic tracks. Stick Figure was good - but not my cup of tea. | | 5 | | The Offspring Supercharged
7/15/25. New Found Glory opened and was good. Jimmy Eat World was next, playing a Bleed American-hit filled set. And the Offspring closed, with a great set and show. Saw this one working in the lawn. | | 6 | | Willie Nelson Oh What a Beautiful World
7/25/25. Outlaw Musical Festival. Didn't pay much attention to the openers, but was cool to hear Bob Dylan play "All Along the Watchtower". Willie played a chill, subdued set - not a lot of bangers. Was great hearing "On the Road Again". Saw this show from up in the lawn, working in the food truck. | | 7 | | Halestorm Everest
8/3/25. Saw this one in the seats - with a good friend of mine and our sons. The Ghost Inside opened; liked a few of their more melodic songs. Halestorm was the second opener - and the tracks off Everest ("Darkness Always Wins", "Everest", and "Rain Your Blood on Me") really shined - as well as tracks off the Halestorm and The Strange Case of... albums. Funny hearing the gasps as Lzzy sang "Like a Woman Can". | | 8 | | Volbeat God of Angels Trust
8/3/25. Volbeat closed. An incredible show - Loved the tracks off the new album ("By a Monster's Hand", "Demonic Possession", "In the Barn of the Goat..."), and played some classics as well. "Shotgun Blues" sounded great live, as did "Sad Man's Tongue". | | 9 | | Kesha . (Period)
8/7/25. Saw this from the lawn. Good pop show, but not my jam. | | 10 | | Live Awake: Best Of
8/9/25. Saw this from the lawn. Our Lady Piece opened - and didn't really recall any of their songs. Live came on next, playing their greatest hits - as well as a couple of new tracks. "Lakini's Juice" was my fav of their set. | | 11 | | Collective Soul Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid
8/9/25 Collective Soul closed. Played a mix of older and newer tracks. Their heavier and older tracks, "Shine" and "Gel", were my favs. | | 12 | | Falling in Reverse Popular Monster
8/17/25. Saw this from the lawn. Sleep Theory and Wage War opened, and were OK. Seeing Tech N9ne was pretty great. Falling in Reverse closed - and played a great set. Definitely had the crowd in their hands. "Ronald" was, as always, a great track! | | 13 | | Phish Evolve
9/16/25. No openers, only Phish. Saw from the lawn. Didn't know any of their songs - but the light show was amazing. | | 14 | | Twenty One Pilots Breach
10/15/25. Was not in the lawn, only heard this. Only recognized 1-2 songs. | |

10.21.25 | This is sweet, wish I was still working with venues and going to free shows lol. i would’ve loved to have seen Collective Soul, Live and OLP play just for nostalgia’s sake | Feather
10.25.25 | Halsey, Jimmy Eat World would be sweet.
Love them or hate them, Ronnie radke and twenty one pilots both put on stellar shows. | AlkemestRedux
10.29.25 | Tech, Willie and the Offspring would all be awesome shows.
I'm a slacker (never did I have a lotta dough) smoking pot and watching videos, aaaay | jrlikestodance
10.29.25 | I was surprised that I didn't really care for Phish live as a jam band enjoyer. Wasn't bad but I don't see the widespread appeal despite recognizing the talent |
