| | Goo Goo Dolls Ranked | | 13 | | Goo Goo Dolls Miracle Pill
Ew. Disgustingly bad. | | 12 | | Goo Goo Dolls Boxes
Ew | | 11 | | Goo Goo Dolls Magnetic
Ew | | 10 | | Goo Goo Dolls Goo Goo Dolls
A forgettable punk album, the worst of the Metal Blade era | | 9 | | Goo Goo Dolls Something for the Rest of Us
All ballads, but considerably less interesting than Let Love In | | 8 | | Goo Goo Dolls Chaos in Bloom
Somewhat of a return to form but generally disappointing and has echoes of the 3 albums that preceded it, sadly. Still a step in the right direction | | 7 | | Goo Goo Dolls Hold Me Up
A good punk album | | 6 | | Goo Goo Dolls Let Love In
Mostly ballads, but still has enough of the rock energy to not be a melodramatic slog. Great songwriting here | | 5 | | Goo Goo Dolls Jed
A really damn good punk album, the best of their Metal Blade era, Takac’s vocals fit this style so well | | 4 | | Goo Goo Dolls Superstar Car Wash
Perfect balance between the old and new sound. This thing is so catchy and full of energy | | 3 | | Goo Goo Dolls A Boy Named Goo
Dizzy Up The Girl but with more Takac cuts | | 2 | | Goo Goo Dolls Gutterflower
All of the band’s best grunge influenced alt rock songs are on here, Big Machine, Truth Is a Whisper, etc. the slower tracks aren’t as good as the previous 2 albums, but it makes up for it in the more energetic cuts | | 1 | | Goo Goo Dolls Dizzy Up The Girl
The greatest adult alternative album of all time, in my top 5 of all time | |

10.05.25 | I live in buffalo and saw Robby Takac at work recently, he was shopping for records. Inspired me to go on a Goo Goo Dolls bender cuz they’re one of my top 10 bands of all time. Coincidentally, their Buffalo origin has nothing to do with it. Genuinely think they’re the peak of this style of late 90’s / 2000’s radio rock | Basman
10.05.25 | I never thought of listening to them beyond the unavoidable Iris on the radio. | Brabiz
10.05.25 | That’s wild. A Boy Named Goo and Dizzy Up The Girl are essentials | Sowing
10.05.25 | Good ranking. I personally have Gutterflower at #1 but it and Dizzy are basically interchangeably good IMO. | RVAHC13
10.05.25 | Didn’t expect Goo Goo Dolls love this early in the morning lol. Long Way Day, Lazy Eye, Ain’t That Unusual, Fallin’ Down, I’m Awake Now, etc. So many great songs eclipsed by the big radio stuff. Underrated for sure, both them and the Lemonheads. | user
10.06.25 | somehow every single goo goo dolls fan ended up on this list | Emim
10.06.25 | More like poo poo dolls | PunkerBlast
10.06.25 | Hey that band name sucks but it is better than the sex maggots. Yuck, imagine if somehow they wrote 'Iris' with that name. Anyhow they are mostly irrelevant now as musicians after GutterFlower but they do some stuff for their local community.
I wan't over exposed to Dizzy up the Girl so I still like 'Iris' and "Superstar Car Wash" was some really good pop-alt songs. | PunkerBlast
10.06.25 | Also....I live in the area so this is what our city presented to the world the best for music and art! :P I was too young to get into them until maybe 1993 but I thought GutterFlower wasn't bad "Here is Now" is catchy and the better days of their songs was behind them. There a two for one! They were never going to even recreate the Dizzy days unless ya a sucker I guess :/ |
