Famous Folks I've met

Famous to me at least. I will update this list the more people I meet. mostly in order.
1American Football
American Football

DANNY AMENDOLA - went to my middle school (like a decade before I did, obviously). Returned to our school in like 2013 to talk about the NFL. My dad is friends with his dad, Willie, to some degree, and we've met a few times more since. most recently 2019.
2Slayer
Christ Illusion

TOM ARAYA - "Met" him and his wife at his ranch in Buffalo, Texas in 2016. My goons just knocked on his front door, because hey why not? Not a very friendly interaction but gee, I wonder why. I posted about it on here at the time and nobody believed me.
3Megadeth
The System Has Failed

DAVE MUSTAINE - we followed his tour bus to a bar following a show in Houston in 2016-2017 and more or less just strolled up to asked for his autograph. he was a few drinks deep, which was surprising at the time because everyone thought he was a “reformed christian”, though it’s now widely known that he never gave up casual drinking. He was not amused with us, and gave us this face that read “dude…really?” but signed our autographs anyways and handed them to us without saying a single word. I was quite intimidated.
4Saliva
Moving Forward In Reverse: Greatest Hits

I've met this band several times. Their former drummer Paul Crosby was my band's manager at one point, circa 2020, when we were signed to his record label 434 Music.
5Cryptopsy
The Book of Suffering - Tome 1

MATT MCGACHY - we met after a cryptopsy show. He was very nice and had a lot of advice to give to me as a young aspiring artist. Peed in a stall next to Flo Mournier and he didn't say a word to me but what doth thou expecteth.
6Simone Forte
Al di là

SIMONE BILES - we are from the same suburb of Houston. She was zoned to my high school but was homeschooled instead. She’s friendly
7Van Halen
Women And Children First

RICHARD LINKLATER - went to the same college I was going to at the time, returned to speak to the student body and individual film students one-on-one. Very nice guy.
8Grimes
Go ft. Blood Diamonds (Non-Album Single)

QUENTIN GRIMES - We went to the same high school.
9This Dog Don't Hunt
Soul Shakin'

MICHAEL VICK - We met at a special event in Houston, maybe 2018? He was the life of the party.

Edit: It was 2017. https://www.click2houston.com/news/2017/02/02/wounded-warriors-participate-in-charity-flag-football-game/
10Propaganda Network
Antievolution

DINESH D'SOUZA - this is a weird one, but I used to work in Montana and he came into my job. Apparently he has a summer house in Montana or something. he was technically nice I guess. If you don't know who this is, do yourself a favor and don't look him up.
11Demolition Hammer
Epidemic of Violence

the band jumped my car’s battery with their band van after a venue in Austin, Texas. One of the coolest moments of my life. Steve Reynolds is much nicer than his music.
12David Ellefson
Sleeping Giants

DAVID ELLEFSON - I was in a group chat with him and my then-band was supposed to support his solo band for a few shows (because of reasons discussed in 4). so yeah maybe this doesn't count, but at the time it was such a flex. "DUUUDE I'M IN A GROUP CHAT WITH JUNIOR!" late 2020. those shows never happened because of covid btw.
13Crowbar
Broken Glass

KIRK WINDSTEIN - Met after a crowbar concert. We talked for quite a while. Extremely friendly, as is his wife.
14Pantera
Far Beyond Driven

PHIL ANSELMO - Met in the green room after a concert, 2022. Let's say he's not beating any allegations lmao.
15Atheist
Unquestionable Presence

KELLY SHAEFER - met at a cynic / atheist show in Dallas. He is super chill.
16Cynic
Ascension Codes

PAUL MASVIDAL - met him after a cynic / atheist show in Dallas. He let my guitarist, Gavin, noodle on his electric guitar (though it was not plugged in). We met a second time at a Trader Joe’s in Los Angeles. Very nice guy.
17Death
Leprosy

TERRY BUTLER & BILL ANDREWS - we saw their band Inhuman Condition when they came to OKC. Only 10 people were in the audience so we were able to get drinks with them. Neither seemed like they wanted to be there, but they were friendly and told us funny stories about Chuck Schuldiner and Kam Lee.
18Thunder
Shooting at the Sun

JOSH GIDDEY - filmed him for an interview about the OKC Thunder. Complete dickwad, and this was before his allegations came out too. When they dropped, basically nobody had his back because of his ego.
19Power Rangers
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Album: A Rock Adv

JUSTIN NIMMO (The Silver Ranger) - dated his daughter for two years. Met some other power rangers along the way but idk who.
20The Flaming Lips
King's Mouth

WAYNE COYNE - You straight up would not believe me lmao
21Spike Fuck
The Smackwave EP

SPIKE LEE & his brother CINQUE LEE - we met at a film festival. I was a bit intimidated by Spike but they were actually rather friendly people. Cinque especially stuck around to talk a bit.
22The Three Tremors
Guardians of the Void

MICHAEL GROSS - spoke over the phone with his manager about a film deal. So, maybe I haven’t met him, but we’ve acknowledged each other’s existence.
