Back to back to back live shows

Btbam on a Monday He is legend on a Tuesday Fall of troy on a Wednesday Hungover on a Thursday Back to work by friday
1Protest the Hero
Fortress

Opened for Between the Buried and me but only caught the last two songs because I'm too cheap and proud to just buy an Uber and decided to walk there instead.
2Between the Buried and Me
Coma Ecliptic

First half of comalaska. I did enjoy myself but seeing it live didn't exactly elevate my opinion on the record. It has its moments for sure but it was jarring seeing people try to mosh to the band's least moshable album. Save it for Alaska bras! People enjoyed themselves and i got to tell people to check out their other albums if they thought this one ripped.
3Between the Buried and Me
Alaska

Yeaaaa, fucking 180 degrees on the energy when they played the first notes, this album still holds up as one of their best works as far as the victory years go. The pit got so crazy a guy fell face first with an audible smack but he got back up in a second and continued to mosh. The biggest crowd of the week belonged to this album. The band themselves weren't very dynamic but they're playing a complex 2 hour and some change setlist. Also Tommy is really looking like a wizard these days.

First day 4/5
4The Requiem
A Cure to Poison the World

My Chemical Romance worship band that really likes 3 cheers and bullets. The singer had almost the exact same outfit as Way did in Helena and they had good energy but a really small crowd size.
5Strawberry Girls
Prussian Gloom

Instrumental band with Zach of dgd fame. Id have thought they'd play with FoT since they fit their niche so much better but they put on a good show and the band is full of super chill guys. They arguably had the best merch too.
6Cancer Bats
Hail Destroyer

Canadian hardcore band with a charismatic lead singer and really jived with the audience. It was my first time hearing them and I found them enjoyable.
7He Is Legend
I Am Hollywood

The smallest crowd of the three headliners but probably the most energetic. Seeing this live ascends the album to another level with its sass and brushless. Widows of magnolia played as an encore was immense. I shook the singers hand and the girl that got to say the "dad I'm not coming home" got the setlist signed by the band. Terrific guys and a terrific show. 4.5/5
8Origami Button
Button Season

I missed these guys :(
9A Lot Like Birds
Conversation Piece

People turned the fuck up for this band with songs like truly random code, blowtorch, and kuroi lodge they *almost* stole the show.
10Closure in Moscow
Pink Lemonade

Aus band. First time seeing- first time heard. They put on a good time and we're really chill. Singer asked for a vape between songs as he lost his.
11The Fall of Troy
Doppelganger

Duh, of course it ruled. Kurt Travis came on to sing act one, scene one and the closure guy helped one of the songs (forget which at this point) then all three singers came on the close the finale of the album. I thought seeing them play phantom last year was cool but doppelganger is too immense to ignore.pls come back next year... oh yeah they hinted at new material too!

4.5/5
