They're probably looking at their roster thinking the well is pretty dry on young talent and the supermax deal pretty much screws them on what is coming for them. A rebuild. The issue is the haul that they received which is pretty lackluster. AD is solid and has stayed relatively healthy the last couple years but definitely feel like they could've shopped around more. Maybe they felt like their time was running out with the deadline but if that's the case they should've started shopping him beginning of the year
