12.14.24 | It's got something more 'human' about it. Maybe it was their more organic recording process. Sick riffs. Jens sounds great throughout. Tomas sounds more 'real' and less robotic (not that him sounding robotic is a bad thing...) |

12.14.24 | I love people coming around on TVSOR as best. Feel like people shit on it for a while |

12.14.24 | It’s never not been two super strong kick-off tracks followed by eight consistent, very “yeah this is indeed a Meshuggah song” tracks to me |

12.14.24 | Musically Monstro is amazing. The lyrics are just cheese. By the ton through Stifled are all filthy. Last 3 is the weakest run of the album but still excellent |

12.14.24 | "Clockworks" cemented itself as a classic from day one, while tracks like "Born In Dissonance" and "MonstroCity" balance brutal grooves with a surprising accessibility. "By the Ton" leaves your head spinning in the best way, and "Ivory Tower" delivers a massive, stoner-like groove. Although the title track feels directionless, the relentless one-two punch of "Stifled" and "Nostrum," the thrashy edge of "Our Rage Won’t Die," and the colossal groove of "Into Decay" more than make up for it. This album is an 8-string guitarist’s dream—Meshuggah making their instruments sound as monstrous as everyone wishes theirs could. |
