Every time I see this bands name my brain reads it in the same way Christina Perri sings it in the lead up to the chorus of her hit song ‘a thousand years’
As someone who has been actively following Poppy since her 2016 creepy Youtube days, I am so excited to see the level of recognition she is getting this year.
I love FJM’s over the top style and sarcastic, dismissive attitude. Has been a go-to background artist of mine since God’s Favorite Customer. This release has already grown exponentially since my first listen and has already become my favorite release of his.
Was an interesting year with no clear 5/5 albums of the year for me. 1-7, 8-15 and 16-25 are likely the rough tiers for me that could be re-shuffled.
Also many late finds at the end of this year, several thanks to all of you who have already posted your top albums (Pika for Interpersonal, Manatea for State Faults, Alseep in Black for the great Mount Eerie review)
