12.07.24 | My biggest disappointment was probably the new Nails. They managed to make a 17 min album sound boring/tame which is impressive for a grind record |

also 1 for sure. would throw oso oso up there too. not their biggest fan to begin with but ive always thougjt they had potential, sadly that new one is straight up their worst |

12.07.24 | 2 is my most disappointing release. I’ve loved Bright Eyes for the past 15 years or so and their return with Down in the Weeds was so good. However Five Dice was incredibly underwhelming. I too hope he gets better |

12.07.24 | Bright Eyes making a bad album is the least surpirisng news to me; they have maybe three good albums in their entire discography. And yeah, Conor clearly hates touring with Bright Eyes, which is probably why he gets plastered every show. You notice too that when it comes to his solo shows and his "Conor Oberst and Friends" shows that he's fine when he plays those shows. |

12.07.24 | @Venin Sum 41 actually caught me off guard with how good it was. Totally agreed it is spread too thin and shouldn’t have been a double, but certainly held its own against what I would have expected
@Veldin completely agreed. Five dice has some good moments, but such a let down from weeds.
@onion I know you loved the erra release. I thought the new Oso Oso was fine.. definitely a step down from their last release but my expectations were low. Sad I didn’t get to talk about microwave more this year. |
