Obscure Core Albums
1Everley
Behaviorism

Late 00s post hardcore revival band. Think of The Tide by Oceana. Pseudo proggy breakdown core. Band chose not to go down the energetic crabcore route that everyone was doing at the time. My personal fave flavor of post hardcore, so glad I have this to turn to in my arsenal.
2The Paramedic
Apollo

Masterful effort. Strategically placed post hc album that is deliberately not tacky, addictingly melodic, and yet scene enough for you to wanna attempt to squeeze into those Rude jeans in the back of your closet. Oh, and this vocalist who only ever appears in this single studio work sounds like a cross between Jonny Craig and Howard Jones, so what are you waiting for? Listen to this now
3The Luminary
Second Sleep

Hear me out. I truly don’t understand why every relevant band nowadays are trying so hard to be sumeriancore, I typically just roll my eyes but this is one of the few acts that I think are doing it right and are genuine. C’mon! Show them love!
4In Hearts Wake
The Bride / In Hearts Wake

Good ol' 2010 core
5Aerolyn
Resilience

This album will make me cry. Pretty much a time capsule to soul proggy post hc. This gem features a prime Kellin Quinn and Jonny Craig.
6Southern Lights
Bring Me Peace

PEAK junz for jesus. Also fun fact: Screams are done by Rory from Dayseeker
7Alive In Standby
Dream Status

Tasteful scenecore, sexy vocals, even has an intro that ties all the songs together. Ugh I fucking love this record.
8Strangers To Wolves
Lost Boys

Once again, just good ol’ dudes making post hardcore that don’t wanna get too rowdy. Check out only if you enjoyed Apollo and Aerolyn
9Halfway To Winter
To the Wolves

More 2010core. Criminal that they broke up.
10Us, From Outside
Revived

I SHIT YOU NOT. This is one of my favorite albums ever. If you were like me and my buddies back in the day and were obsessed with Numbers by Woe is me, this shit blows it out of the water. Came out a year later and was obviously inspired. Band got overlooked hard since a lot of people liked the emo vibes from debut and the vocalist left the band soon after releasing it. The bassist stepped the fuck up and killed it!
11Concepts
Transitions

Seems appropriate to put this one next. Insane vocalist. Let me repeat: this dude is freaking insane! This album is more like Vengence esque era of Woe is me. Back in the day, there were a few demos by this band that I would listen to on repeat. Maybe ten years later I discovered that they actually finished an album and it was a nice little treat. Honestly, this might just be very generic to the rest of you, but I highly recommend listening to the track “Mirrors.”
12In Angles
Cardinal

If Will Swann was in The Story so Far
13Yuyoyuppe
Solitude Freak

Japanese junz
14A Foreign Affair
Empty Houses

Passionate prog post hardcore. Haven't heard anything this charming since Tides of Man fell off
15She Can't Breathe
When the Way Is Forgotten

Just listen to the track ft Kellin Quinn. You're welcome
