Hyperion1001 05.12.24	sepultura has never really done anything for me besides the bestial devastation/morbid visions duo and those are in the same boat as possessed and bathory imo. roots is awesome but that aint thrash. dark angel and morbid saint have the problem of being the most "extreme" thrash albums which basically just makes them death metal but not as good so why would i listen to them when i can just listen to altars of madness or massacre.

Madbutcher3 05.13.24	nemesis is okay but it drags a lot cus it's so mid-tempo n groove oriented compared to FTDF also extreme thrash doesn't always sound that close to dm, i'd say devastation, protector et al get somewhat close but don't emphasize the trems so much and tend to follow more of a thrash groove

0GuyMan0 07.24.24	One of my worst metal opinions is that thrash just kinda sucks most of the time. "Thrash bands just being metal" hits way better for me (Ride the Lightning / Rust in Peace). Also with you guys on not being big on Slayer, but I agree Hell Awaits is the one. No Death Angel here bums me out, but I'll admit I am a bad judge of quality in thrash lol.
