So, I've been thinking a lot about self-doubt and my own issues with people pleasing and mental health. Long story short, I have a habit of worrying that I'm being super fucking annoying and should just go away. | | 2 |  | Silent Planet

A big part of that has been this site. We may give each other shit a bunch, and sure, there are a few bad apples and arguments here and there, but y'all have been insanely welcoming and incredibly kind, even when I put out a review or opinion that I feel is shit.

02.26.24 | I'd say do whatever you feel you need to do. I've left the site for weeks (even months) at a time, on quite a few occasions because of my own mental health issues, because being on this site just isn't good for my real life stress. If you feel the need to take time for yourself by leaving the site, do it -- whatever makes you the most happy is probably the best solution.
Ultimately, regardless of what I have to say about my own experiences, just do what you feel is good for you. That's really what is likely the best outcome with all of this. | artificialbox

@JKing it's not that I want to leave for the sake of my mental health. It's that I want to leave because my brain is undergoing cognitive distortions and is convincing me that everyone on this site wants me gone lol

02.27.24 | i dont wanna be annoying either (unless someones annoyed me) but if it's a consequence of me being myself then so be it. in person its different though and a lil inconsiderate to be annoying obviously but as long as you arent harming anyone and following your own standards of how to treat people then it makes it a lot easier to not be judgmental of yourself. if you built a strong standard for yourself and follow it, other people's opinions really matter a lot less, at least thats what ive found for myself | Ladron93
