1Kittie
In the Black

Genre: Metal

Great underappreciated album. Looking forward to Kittie's new album. New track "Eyes Wide Open" hits hard - and pulls no punches. Wouldn’t expect less, as Kittie (along with My Ruin) helped pioneer harsh female vocals in metal. Also recently picked up "Until the End"
2Hippotraktor
Meridian

Genre: Djenty post metal

Thank you Uzumaki for the rec - this is a great album - and was NYP on Bandcamp. Great vocals by the lead vocalist of Psychonaut...which led me to...
3Psychonaut
Violate Consensus Reality

Genre: sludgy post metal

Digging this band's whole discography - which is currently NYP on Bandcamp.
4Intronaut
Fluid Existential Inversions

Genre: slightly sludgy, mathy, post metal with some jazz fusion

Picked this up recently at McKays in Knoxville, TN. Loving this album.
5Sevendust
Truth Killer

Genre: Nu-metal

Been a fan for a long time. Generally pick up albums when I see them available. Found this album at McKays in Knoxville, TN. And damnit - its a pretty great listen. Not sure how Sevendust continue to change their sound and put out good albums, but they do.
6Nebula
Atomic Ritual

Genre: psychedelic stoner rock

A stellar branch off from Fu Manchu - this album doesn't disappoint. Picked up at CD Warehouse in Kenesaw, GA.
7Bruce Dickinson
The Best of Bruce Dickinson

Genre: Metal, NWOBHM

Found this album for $3 at the GA 400 flea market. Already had Chemical Wedding and Tyranny of Souls, but hadn't listened as much to his earlier solo work - which is pretty great. Led me to buy...
8Bruce Dickinson
Accident of Birth

Genre: Metal, NWOBHM

The start of Bruce's heavier solo output???
