02.18.24 | i like 4 better than 5 and 6, mainly stylistically. it's pretty strong material that sits just below their other albums, and could've been on par with them had it received more polish and a more organic studio sound.
frankly 7 and 8 are about equal, but i really like the bonus tracks on 7, and 8 seems to me like a retread of 4 but a little bit more juvenile and forced so my perception of it is "cheap copy of better thing" and i can't shake that even though it's still good in its own right. |
