Static-X Ranked

the new albums were good so i decided to revisit & reassess the discog of a band i never thought highly of
1Static-X
Project Regeneration Vol. 2

3.8

Some really nice, groovy, catchy, textural industrial.
2Static-X
Project Regeneration Vol. 1

3.7

Ditto.
3Static-X
Shadow Zone

3.6

Closest they ever came to Nu Metal. Decently competent at doing so.
4Static-X
Cult Of Static

3.5

Bit of a departure from the other stuff. I like it.
5Static-X
Wisconsin Death Trip

3.4

Some of this is as good as it's purported to be, and some of it sounds very empty. The tone and groove isn't all there yet on a lot of tracks.
6Static-X
Machine

3.3
7Static-X
Start A War

3.2

Second most Nu Album. Doesn't meld it as well with their style.
8Static-X
Beneath... Between... Beyond

3.0
9Static-X
Cannibal

2.9

HATE the shrill tonedeaf screams and cheap electronics on this one + it chugs just for the sake of chugging rather than generating a groove half the time. Manic, without the ability to back it up. Some good tracks in the second half.
10Wayne Static
Pighammer

2.8

Kinda dull. Less annoying as a whole than Cannibal, but doesn't ever peak.
