| Shadows of Their Former Selves

Destroy What You Enjoy

Hard Skool

Till Death, La Familia

Lullabies to Paralyze
Now I will admit - there are some great tracks on this album and "...Like Clockwork". But all in all, none of it touches the prior albums/tracks with Nick Oliveri. Nick brought punk-rock ethic to QOTSA, as well as a varied formula. Recent albums have been 1-D and formulaic. | | 8 |  | Pantera
Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys...
Now I enjoyed the reformed Pantera concert. But was it actually Pantera? No, the spector (and absence) of the Abbott brothers looms large over this band. OK with them touring, but don't know if I could buy into a new Pantera album by the current lineup. | | 9 |  | Stone Sour

I like this album a lot actually. But...it doesn't sound like Stone Sour. More in-line with, but a bit heavier than, Corey Taylor's solo work. Good thing that this band is taking a hiatus - maybe they can regroup in the future with more of the OG members. | |
