Moving Is the Worst

Obviously trying my damnedest to gtfo of South Dakota, but damn it's been awhile since I switched places and I forgot how insane it is trying to get into a home. Wish me the best of luck while I cool my heels and try not to fly off the deep end. List is late Q3, early Q4 digs
1Corrupted
Mushikeras

I miss the old Corrupted but I won't complain about this. Garten der Unbewusstheit was a monolith that will be hard to overcome.
2Armand Hammer
We Buy Diabetic Test Strips

Billy Woods is the best rapper alive. I'll accept arguments but I've thought about this a lot.
3Sulphur Aeon
Seven Crowns and Seven Seals

Holy shit.
4 Taproot
SCSSRS

Wait, what? I was never even a fan of Taproot to begin with but a fellow nu-metal kid brought this up and...I kinda really enjoy it? Strong 3.5 if you're still into this kinda thing, like a heavier Stabbing Westward or something.
5Genesis Owusu
Struggler

Such a strange but fun rendition of hip-hop stapled to a post-punkish backdrop, I think Kofi could be real big. He's on a short west coast tour right now before traversing Europe, so...we shall see if he becomes the next Pitchfork darling.
6Yellow Eyes
Master’s Murmur

Whenever I read a phrase like "almost abandons their black metal sound entirely" I get a real sad feeling in my soul, but THIS...I think this is what Xasthur has always wished he could make. Cheers HAWKS
7Arabrot
Of Darkness and Light

WHY DOES NOBODY ELSE LIKE THIS BAND??
8MIKE
Burning Desire

More like a collection of vignettes than fully-fledged songs, but it works so well with the wide array of flavors. Crispy chill record.
9Carnifex
Necromanteum

Well I didn't expect this to be THIS good. It actually feels like the whole record is a love letter to Trevor Strnad/TBDM, and I'm not mad about it. This is the best Carnifex since Slow Death.
10Crosses
Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete.

Another band I've never been into much, as they just seem like Deftones Lite, but again...really enjoy this, so go figure. 808s and fat synth bass are a hard combo to hate.
