Cumming Music Fest 2023

Put on each year by 37 Main, a Tavern out of Buford, GA, at the Cumming, GA fairgrounds. Another great set of cover bands, although not as many attended as in years past. This was my middle son's first official concert - and he absolutely loved Guns 4 Roses. https://buford.37main.com/2023-cumming-music-festival/
1Van Halen
For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge

Sammy. Got to the show a bit late, but heard from others that this cover band played all Sammy Hagar tracks.
2Journey
Greatest Hits

Departure. Came in early in this cover band's set. Played a strong greatest hits set of Journey tracks, including favorites "Don't Stop Believin" and "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)".
3Aerosmith
Greatest Hits

Walk This Way. This cover band kicked off their 1-hour set with "Love in an Elevator", and then played classic tracks including "Same Old Song and Dance", "Sweet Emotion", "Dream On", and "Walk This Way".
4Aerosmith
Big Ones

Walk This Way also played some great late 80's and 90's tracks, including "Rag Doll", "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)", and "Livin' on the Edge".
5Billy Squier
Don't Say No

Get Lucky in the Dark. Played a number of Billy Squier and Loverboy covers. Not very farmiliar with these bands - but knew a few, most notably "The Stroke"
6Guns N' Roses
Appetite for Destruction

Guns 4 Roses. A truly kick-ass cover band. Started their 1.5 hour set off with "Night train" and "Mr. Brownstone", and shortly thereafter played "Welcome to the Jungle". Also played "Sweet Child o Mine" midset.
7Guns N' Roses
G N' R Lies

Guns 4 Roses played 3 tracks off this album, including "Mama Kin", "Patience", and "Used to Love Her". For "Mama Kin", the band brought in the lead singer for Walk This Way to sing along.
8Guns N' Roses
Use Your Illusion

Guns 4 Roses played devastating covers of "Live and Let Live" and "You Could Be Mine", and played "Don't Cry" and "Civil War" during their set. Amazingly, they played and pulled off a spectacular cover of "November Rain" towards the end of the set. But the best from this double album was "Knockin' on Heaven's Door. A great sing-along with the crowd.
9Guns N' Roses
Appetite for Destruction

Guns 4 Roses finished their set off with a pulverizing cover of "Paradise City".
10Kiss
Greatest KISS

Rock & Roll Over. Saw this band arrive, but didn't stay to see them.
