They’re just going through the motions and refusing to do anything creative or interesting. It’s not a shit show, but I wish it was, then it would at least be interesting

deathschool 07.20.23	3 and 2 are 1 and 2. They're also the only Metallica albums I would choose to listen to in 2023. Death Magnetic is lolbad. The fact that people still act like it's a good album just because it manages to not be worse than St. Anger really sets a a bar so low that it's underground.

DoofDoof 07.20.23	they sound real similar but the production is better on 12 and I'd say the overall song writing consistency is better. 1 has a few songs maybe better than any on 12. So to say they are so far apart seems like grasping but hey, personal taste and all that
Brabiz 07.20.23	I just think they have such a similar sound, while 12 is considerably more watered down. I cant remember a single riff off it. It sounds like a more generic Hardwired. Which, this late in their career is kind of sad. Feels like they’re just doing it for the money and nothing else.

Brabiz 07.22.23	Okay i don’t hate Disposable Heroes anymore. I am at a point of feeling indifferent about it. Not better than the debut though.
Brabiz 07.22.23	72 Seasons is just utterly worthless to me. People can say “it’s not that bad” ad infinitum, but it feels so cynical and lifeless that whenever I hear it, it feels insulting. Especially at the runtime it has.
