Devastator 06.02.23	Last time I was hyped for a different faction of Transformers was the Dinobots in AoE and they were in the movie for 10 minutes. I do dig Transformers having more show accurate designs for their robot modes though.
Storm In A Teacup 06.02.23	Havent been this excited about transformers since the first moder live action movie was announced. So ready for Rhinox, Megatron, Rat Trap, Cheetor, etc. Hoping for some Rampage and Waspinator and Terrasaur and more.
AnimalsAsSummit 06.02.23	Agreed! Feels like I felt when the first movie came out, just so much excitement !! I actually LOVE the busy Bayformer designs too…. They influenced me a lot as a kid. It’s nice to see a great middle ground struck here w the designs, and the CGI improved so much since that first trailer. Really pumped for Scorponok (among many others)…. I do think the design for him and Sandspear are way way better than the Bay Scorponok design.

Storm In A Teacup 06.03.23	Scorponok was awesome in the early beast wars. He was done dirty but tbf neither the maximals or the predicons would ever be able to fully accept trusting him. Opened the door for ol Terrasaur and Spider Boy.
Storm In A Teacup 06.03.23	You could rely on Terrasaur to be disloyal but always fuck it up before it was too late and Spider Boy might have been brilliant but his weak body and lack of modifying himself to be tougher other than going transmetal only to catch up to everyone else was his downfall.

PotsyTater 06.03.23	I had so many of these toys man. And deadass Re watched the whole show as an adult when I first moved away to college lmao. It’s probably my favourite piece of childhood nostalgia. Tho x-men animated series is close.

PotsyTater 06.03.23	Depth charge was one of my favs of the toys! I brought it to Hawaii with me lol
Storm In A Teacup 06.03.23	Hawaii feels appropriate for the kind of beast Depth Charge became. My brother and I would have battles with the toys and sometimes permanently damaged them and our parents didn't get it and would be mad that we disrespected their money but as long as their spark was intact we thought they survived for another battle.
Storm In A Teacup 06.03.23	At some point depth charge couldnt shoot the yellow discs anymore. Rampage was probably the most fucked up toy by the time we were older and growing older/school/friends/extracurricular activity took over.

We collected the toys from the original line and kept going for a couple years. My brother got into the movie(s?) as they were younger than I and stayed a fan/collector for a solid 5 years if not longer.

Storm In A Teacup 06.04.23	We still have a lot of our childhood stuff. A lot to be uncovered again but i know i still have all my original beanie babies. Want to sell them but havent looked into it yet. My favorites as a kid were the platypus and the colorful dragon.
