Opening track is killer, rest is meh | | 20 | | Yes Tormato
This album is good! | | 19 | | Yes Big Generator
A less good 90125. Idk, i like it | | 18 | | Yes Open Your Eyes
Usually rated lowest, but tbh i dig most of this album. | | 17 | | Yes 90125
Love the heavy hitters here. Solid tracklist, but not too memorable | | 16 | | Yes Yes
Solid rock album, nothing too special though | | 15 | | Yes Time and a Word
Solid rock album, nothing too special though | | 14 | | Yes Drama
A lot of great material, but i can’t stand some of it. The whole “i am a camera” line makes me want to puke | | 13 | | Yes Union
Honestly good, don’t get the hate. Maybe too long | | 12 | | Yes Talk
Kind of love this album, don’t get the hate | | 11 | | Yes Fly from Here
Nothing much negative to say about this, more solid Yes | | 10 | | Yes The Ladder
Underrated gem | | 9 | | Yes Mirror To The Sky
This is such a great album, only complaint is the length | | 8 | | Yes Going for the One
Really solid stuff | | 7 | | Yes Keystudio
Sort of insulting the way this was released. Stellar collection of tracks. | | 6 | | Yes Fragile
My least favorite of the classic albums, some great standouts, but some feels filler-y. | | 5 | | Yes Relayer
Not as easy to digest as Close To The Edge. It’s dark, it’s dense, and maaaan it’s so good. | | 4 | | Yes The Yes Album
Their first classic, no much to say about it, fucking killer record. | | 3 | | Yes Tales from Topographic Oceans
Complex and bold prog maximalism. This album is overly long and self-indulgent, and that’s kind of the best part about it. Shamelessly prog. | | 2 | | Yes Magnification
My all time favorite comfort album. This thing is erupting with optimism and positivity. The addition of the orchestra is such a nice touch so underrated | | 1 | | Yes Close to the Edge
Title track is maybe the greatest song ever written, idc. Ending gives me chills every time | |
Brabiz
05.23.23 | I feel like the only person who likes all of Yes’ stuff. But idc, band is great. My ranking is probably controversial, but i like what i like lol | normaloctagon
05.23.23 | 1 is 1
6 is 2
4 is 3
Good list gonna have to check magnification
I get up, i get down | Titan
05.23.23 | props to having 3 and 7 as high as you have em | Brabiz
05.23.23 | Give Love Each Day off of Magnification is one of their best imo, in general it’s just a very catchy, lush album, and it’s a bummer that it didn’t get any attention when it came out | normaloctagon
05.23.23 | Jamming now, opener is real fun | chemicalmarriage
05.23.23 | Ashamed i havent heard it so I'm going to check out 2 | 90m80s
05.23.23 | 3 is 1 | Brabiz
05.23.23 | Yeah 3 is spectacular. Anyone who talks shit about it is a moron. Definitely deserves to be ranked above Relayer, that 3.8 average rating is brutal.
I love how soaring and impactful the melodies on 2 are. | 90m80s
05.23.23 | 6 > 5 | mryrtmrnfoxxxy
05.24.23 | Damn they're still going huh. Thats cool imo. Gonna check out the newest one | Brabiz
05.24.23 | Mmmm idk, I think some of the interludes on 6 kill it a bit for me. There are a handful of songs on there I don’t really enjoy listening to.
Yeah, the new album is actually really good I thought. Most creative and energetic they’ve sounded in years. Best since Magnification imo. At first the singles didn’t wow me, but I kept coming back, and it’s just really solid. Actually quite proggy, and there are some ear worms sprinkled all over the thing. Title track is my favorite | 90m80s
05.24.23 | I wasn't feeling Relayer much at all after Tales. It's like a shorter, less lucid, somehow rigid version of a kinda similar style. You called it dark and dense. For me it fell flat.
Been a minute since I heard any Yes but between Tales, Fragile, Relayer, and 90125 my enjoyment went in the same order. So Tales > Fragile > Relayer > 90125. That's the extent of my Yes listening as I really am not much into deep 80s or progressive rock. | tcat84
05.24.23 | The filler on Fragile doesn't matter cause the meat of the album is top tier
| SuzyC
05.24.23 | Not sure how I'd rank them all, but your #1 would almost definitely be mine too. | bighubbabuddha
05.25.23 | 6 is 2 | bigguytoo9
12.02.23 | 1 is 1 forever. | Brabiz
11.28.24 | Going to have to re-rank. Kinda loving Tormado rn |
