TheSonomaDude 04.03.23	budgie: im majoring in film and minoring in history, though i've debated changing my minor to english since I have the exact same amount of minor credits for both. i've also debated going to grad school for creative writing but i'll likely go for film. squiggly: new season of sputnikmusic just dropped, hope the new characters arent shit BMDrummer: bro that's what im saying! i am glad school is going well for you. this is my second attempt at university and it's much better this time around. i would post alot back when during my first college attempt, and it was a very dark time that was reflected in some of the stuff i posted. i've been incredibly busy and caught up with life recently but it's all for the better, and i hope you feel the same.

Nearing the end of back to back ma/phd english programs myself and it's been a ride to say the least...the more you "know," the more you feel a creeping insignificance (in my experience at least), which can be kinda liberating?

TheSonomaDude 04.04.23	@twlight i've been jamming indie since high school but gimme recs @budgie i've made some fun horror shorts for class projects but my thesis project will be a horror film with a budget of around $3k, so stay tuned @docsportello that's awesome to hear. i imagine that's been like 6-8 years of constant schooling right? i cant fathom that but i'm sure that's how it'll be for me one day. congratulations on finishing that up.

TheSonomaDude 04.04.23	oh dude it's been serene. because of my busy schedule, biking late at night has really been my only option and i try to get 5 miles a night. when i first got into biking last summer, i got spoiled by living in a small Wyoming mountain town that set the standard for sunset biking. now, my college is on the northside of a midsized city in an old urban part of town where the setting is just not the same, but i've grown to appreciate it for different reasons. i also went offroad biking and had a lot of fun. some friends are trying to get me into BMX and wanna take me to a nearby BMX track, and that sounds dope

TheSonomaDude 04.04.23	ars: AHOY budgie: i've not seen it but it's goin on my watchlist now. i've been meeting with local film industry figures about helping me finance and produce a feature horror film after a graduate, and everyone seems promising at the moment. i dont wanna excite myself too much in case it doesn't happen but everyone has been pretty optimistic! i'll also be a cam operator on a studio horror film being shot in my city this summer, and that director and his producers have been trying to help me with this project of mine.
