DoofDoof 01.02.23	Johnny - it was actually my favourite season of Stranger Things but the build up was a bit laboured I guess and the sub plot in Siberia or wherever was hit and miss. Rest of it was fire?

FreakMachine 01.02.23	"I’m not a big fan of Tim Burton recently but Wednesday was ok for what it was, lead actress was very good playing her, plot was secondary really" - I thought the plot was solid enough, a decent "whodunnit", but let's be honest the attraction here was always going to be an even quirkier take on one of the Addams Family characters done in a modern setting. Jenna Ortega is phenomenal as her. Admittedly I didn't watch much modern stuff this year as I've been rewatching Series of Unfortunate Events and working my way through Vampire Diaries

DoofDoof 01.02.23	GreyS - whisper it, but there was quite a dull/lost section of three episodes in that BCS season. Definitely not in the top three BCS seasons for me, the starting and ending episodes were very good though. The Rue on the run/Cal on the rampage back to back episodes in Euphoria S2 were some of the best television of the year quite easily imo

DoofDoof 01.02.23	anat - I think I can get three months free Apple TV so I was tempted to start that last month but things ended up being busy. I might still give Apple a go soon and just binge watch a few things - that would be the first on my list. Maybe Foundation too.

DoofDoof 01.02.23	Yeah, the Saul finale season was mostly excellent but similar to BB the lead character was revealed to be a lot less likeable/relatable/sympathetic which is realistic…but not always as entertaining in the purest sense. The showdown between Gus and Lalo was satisfying but not mind blowing, the lead up to the end of Howard was also important but didn’t always make for amazing or totally believable drama for me - but the Nacho stuff at the start and the Gene stuff at the end was as equally good as the show ever got. A lot of final seasons for shows in 2022 and it was definitely the best of all of those, it’s hard to wrap up long standing series but they def did a good job.
Emim 01.02.23	I enjoyed Kenobi waaaaay more than Boba Fett. Was Reacher this year? It was dumb but in a good way.
Scheumke 01.02.23	Nice to see some 1899 love, already looking foreward to the second season! I take it you've seen DARK from the same makers? If not it's mandatory, it's quite a bit better even.
DoofDoof 01.02.23	Scheumke - yes Dark is incredible, I’d rate it higher than 1899 so far but they have their similarities for sure Emim - by the end Kenobi was pretty good, bit shaky early on. Boba Fett I quite enjoyed the world building. Neither I rate anywhere near The Mandalorian

DoofDoof 01.03.23	Yotimi - disappointed, I think it’s one of those shows you needed to get four episodes in to really start feeling like you had any sort of grip on it and I don’t know how many viewers have that patience :/

Gyromania 01.03.23	Yeah get on Severance, that’s my favourite show of the year. House of the Dragon is a close second tho
DoofDoof 01.03.23	Trebor - Andor found itself in a more crowded field, it was closer to Westworld 4 than Kenobi and as dystopian sci fi with some political overtones goes it was pretty dull for me. In the field of ‘Darth Vader stomping about’ Kenobi had no rival at least.
zakalwe 01.03.23	After getting through the first episode and sticking with it I thoroughly enjoyed The Traitors tbh
DoofDoof 01.03.23	zak - that's a reality TV show right? My parents are obsessed with it....but that doesn't always mean I get straight to checking something out they recommend ;)
zakalwe 01.03.23	That’s the one. Absolute wankers in it apart from the Welsh Nan and the old deluded bird but it’s well worth a watch.
