11.07.22 | interesting i'd put priori's sound closer to trance (albeit a modern take) whereas forest drive west is defs more of a hypnotic techno vibe. that forest drive west album plays a bit more with zippy sounds than some of his other stuff for sure but doesnt approach what priori is doing. will have to check the convextion rec tho |

11.07.22 | well that specific EP has a lot of hypnotic dub elements whereas some of their other stuff is def more trance-ish. they’re one of those acts that’s basically like “every ep is a different subgenre”, with this one being my favorite.
convextion (and his other alias e.r.p.) is one of my favorite active producers. everything he produces is gold. |
