The Only Arch Enemy albums that exist, ranked
7Arch Enemy
Black Earth

Meh. Not quite 1-6 but I still have a ton of nostalgia with this, and Bury Me An Angel is still a straight banger. Somewhere between a 6 and a 7 for me.
6Arch Enemy
Deceivers

There used to be a top 5, completely separate tier for me. Today, it is a top 6. This album fucking rules, and after this there is a massive drop in quality for me. This is pretty much the whole reason I am making this list. Has been on repeat since this morning. Finally, an album with Alissa that I can actually enjoy thoroughly front to back. Always thought she was a great replacement for Angela, but those albums never connected to me like this one. 8.5/10
5Arch Enemy
Doomsday Machine

This is the only one from their early era that I don't have nostalgia with because I didn't listen to it until years later for some reason, but my goodness. Album kicks me in the fucking face every time I press play. One of the best openers ever.
4Arch Enemy
Stigmata

A little lower than Burning Bridges/Anthems because the vocals aren't QUITE up to par, but some of those solos are straight fire and actually better than those on Burning Bridges. This was my favorite of theirs back in the day, but honestly #1-6 on this list are basically all back to back.
3Arch Enemy
Anthems of Rebellion

This is the one that got me into the band. I remember this getting lukewarm reviews back when this came out when I was in high school. Every negative review is straight up incorrect, album slaps.
2Arch Enemy
Burning Bridges

Pre-Angela Arch Enemy is insanely underrated. I actually used to like it way more than Angela era back in the day (although not for the vocals, moreso for the more gothic atmosphere). This is some of the best melo-death. Brings back sleepaway camp memories for me.
1Arch Enemy
Wages of Sin

Best vocal performance in their discog, best riffs, best drums, just all around an absolute monster of an album. 9.7/10
