He did a really good job checking the leg kicks though, rarely see people react to them that fast. at the presser he was saying that every time he checks a kick that should count as a strike for him also I thought Adesanya looked pretty good, wasn't a barn burner but his speed and accuracy was pretty nice to watch. it's not entirely his fault that some of his fights are less than enthralling, it's also on his opponents to engage more

Thinking the Pereira fight will be different… Also, was expecting volk v max to be way closer. Just further solidification that Volk is the goat though. Needs to move up to lightweight.

Better to try and fail than fail to try and all that I just dont see it going well either. Kinda like Max/Dustin. Hes top p4p after that for me now. Josh D. 07.03.22	Glad to see Strickland get starched, the way Max has been fighting since the second Volk I thought he would win, so Volk has completely changed my thoughts on him (not that I really doubted him in general), and Izzy continues his streak of fights where his opponents talk a big game and then go in there and freeze up.

From the get-go (when he was fighting nobodies) he has always been terribly cringey and with the step up in competition he has delivered some terribly boring and decisively non-dominant fights (even some arguable losses i.e Whittaker and to a lesser extent Yoel). People are IN LOVE with his feinting and subconsciously take that to be equivalent to landing strikes. It's a shame that the division hasn't had any elite mma grapplers to throw at him. I genuinely think that Khamzat, if he went up a weight class, would either sub him in 1 round, or pitch something close to a 50-40 shutout.
Colton 07.06.22	Adesanya has never even come close to losing a fight at middleweight. Imo you have to be pretty blinded by your hate for him to sincerely say Whittaker took the rematch. That was an easy 49-46. And he does say cringey shit at press conferences but if you watch a more relaxed interview of him or his youtube videos where he's just with his friends he's actually pretty dope and has a really cool personality. I think the current Izzy hate bandwagon is stupid. He also has more exciting championship fights than any other champion right now

I just wish hed been slightly more aggressive but as already said, this can be said of many of Izzys opponents and that doesnt include already being wiped out for doing that last time
