Ethiopian Knights
This record may end up becoming an all time favorite of mine. Ethiopian Knights is a vibe, a powerful one at that. The meat of this record comes in the tracks "The Emperor" and "The Little Rasti" which combined make 30 minutes of some of the most powerful funk I've ever heard.

Straight out of Cameroon comes another jazz-funk masterpiece. Soul Makossa is bubbling with energy and it combines the fixings of african tribal music with those of jazz funk, to a wonderful effect
