I’m a child of the 1990’s - what else to say. Seeing the slew of videos from this album on MTV was highly formative for me, and greatly influenced my guitar playing style. And now, even 30 yrs later, influencing my middle son’s guitar playing. A timeless album. Also, Hetfield’s vocals were at their best on this.
Should’ve been split into 2 discs - second disc starting with Unforgiven II and including the intro to My Apocalypse. Hard to listen all the way through due to loudness issues. But some great songs on here - a return to form.
Justice for Jason!!!!!!!! If Metallica were not such douches regarding Jason’s bass, would put this higher. One (the video version) is one of the best songs ever made though.
