DarkSideOfLucca 03.07.22	Thoughts in description. I prob won't be able to see it again until it goes to streaming, because it's expensive and also I have no time with my job/family but fuck that was awesome.

DarkSideOfLucca 03.07.22	I didn't see it in IMAX, but I did see it in a theater that served dinner and beer. I would recommend smoking instead. I ran out to pee twice cause of the damn 3 hour run time. And I generally ALWAYS recommend beer
AnimalsAsSummit 03.07.22	Finally I was waiting for this thread. One of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen in cinemas. So many highlights but the scene where he first enters the club is now probably in my top 10 favorite movie scenes ever. Go and see this shit you will not be disappointed. One of the few Hollywood movies that floored me in over a decade. OG asf

EoinCofa 03.07.22	I’m somewhat nitpicking: Storyline - good (definitely had vibes of Fincher’s Seven) Villains - great Batman - odd how lethargic he is, I guess he’s recharging when not fighting, overall pretty good job Catwoman - I really like Zoe and liked her here, but her fight scenes were weak I wish that Joaquin would have made the joker cameo
Divaman 03.07.22	Thought Pattinson might turn out to be a decent Batman. I'll catch it next month when it comes to HBO Max.

Devastator 03.07.22	Great movie, it really feels like a coming of age tale for Batman. You see him realizing he needs to be a beacon of hope for Gotham. Hopefully we see more a Uber-Chad Bruce Wayne in the next movie.

Devastator 03.07.22	Very hopeful they go forward with the tease of adapting a Hush story line. With this new focus on the detective aspect of Batman it would go over really well I feel.

foxblood 03.08.22	I liked the movie a lot, it had fantastic cinematography, a good score and mostly really great acting. I enjoyed it more than any of the Nolan films so I'm actually pretty excited for more. I loved that it didn't have marvel-esque jokes and it's funny to me that people complain about that. I LOVED some details, like his cataloging of events w/ a pen and pad after a long night, or the ending focusing more on the importance of saving civilians rather than some big fight. I really hope it leans even more into the 'dark detective' side of batman in the impending sequels.
Gameofmetal 03.08.22	Thought it was superb. You can really see the Fincher Zodiac/Seven influence. Paul Dano is a generational talent.

dachstheangry 03.08.22	This is now my second favourite Batman movie after (of course) The Dark Knight. Maybe a bit too long and a FSK 16 would have been nice, but that doesn't bother me too much. Love Paul Dano as the Riddler. Hey Marvel, take notice. This is how you write a villain.
AnimalsAsSummit 03.08.22	Don’t forget the tons of Matrix references through out (and other neo-noir epics) as well as a scene that directly connects to my favorite film, Equilibrium. This shit hit me harder than most movies in my life. The vibes were off the charts on point. Insane.
AlexKzillion 03.12.22	Yeah this actually fucking ruled. Absolutely loved the whole detective aspect of it, the villians, the new take on bruce wayne, the world building, and so on. Three hour movie that had me on the edge of my seat the entire time
heck 03.14.22	seen it 3 times already and have my ticket for the fourth. I absolutely loved Batman as a kid and this movie feels like they took it and combined it with the types of movies I love now that I'm older, like David Fincher movies, (borderline) horror, etc. it's like a Batman movie that was made for me as an adult, even moreso than Nolan's trilogy, as much as I enjoy that.
