| Post 2000 Era Iron Maiden Ranked
Let me first say that I am a fan of mostly Bruce-era Iron Maiden, but Paul was not too shabby and Blaze had a few strong tracks. Secondly, A few years back, I didn’t really have too many of their albums, just a few greatest hit packages - a surficial fan at best. But then I found # 1 below at a flea market for a dollar (and almost didn’t buy it). But I did and spun it…and was greatly enamored with it. Since - I have hunted down copies of all of their post 2000 studio albums. Honestly, greatly preferring their progressive metal tendencies and long epic songs in this era over the 1980/1990 era. A difficult effort (as all are superb) - but here is my ranking of Iron Maiden’s post 2000 output. | | 1 |  | Iron Maiden

03.03.22 | If I had to put Tyranny of Souls on here, Bruce Dickinson’s solo album during this period, it would probably fall between 2 and 3. A great album. But it is a much darker, heavier (in several ways) piece of work and doesn’t really fit in with these. | Muzz79
03.03.22 | Trv they're all good records. Senjutsu reigns supreme for me (there's something perfect about that one for me) and then BNW. After that DOD and FF are also both excellent. I didn't click with AMOLAD fsr but no doubt it's good. And Book of souls even tho I saw that tour did nothing for me so 6 is 6 | rockarollacola
