Christian Älvestam: top 5 albums

Christian Älvestam is one of my favorite metal vocalists, and his work goes far beyond Scar Symmetry. Here is what I think is his best works.
1Scar Symmetry
Pitch Black Progress
2Svavelvinter
Mörkrets Tid

Noone on sputnik really noticed this album, but it kicks ass. It is sort of a melodic death metal/ black metal mix. It is basically a Christian Älvestam solo album, and it is some of his best work.

3Solution .45
For Aeons Past
4Unmoored
Indefinite Soul-extension

Unmoored has been forgotten, but it was pretty great progressive death metal similar to opeth and edge of sanity.

5Scar Symmetry
Holographic Universe
6Torchbearer
Death Meditations

Honorable mentions

This album seems great, but I haven't listened to it enough yet to say for certain.
7Christian Alvestam
Self 2.0

There is some pretty cool stuff on his solo EP. It is far different than anything else he has ever done.
