Watched he fight back again today without the adrenaline and emotion and as great a fight it was it's not quite up there with Bowe holyfield, Lyle foreman, Ali Frazier 3 at HW and for sure not gatti ward, Barrera Morales, Vasquez Marquez ilk. Was insanely one sided after those 2 knock-downs in the 4th by wilder and afterwards he landed one good uppercut and a bit of a flurry at the end of one of the latter rounds. When you know that shots not coming it doesn't hold as well as the greatest back and forths. The excitement came from no matter how much Tyson was on top , Wilders equaliser was always there. Fury is fking great. Won't see a character like him again for a while. |

As great as he is part from WIlder and a 40 year old Wlad in one of the lowest output championship fights in history his resume doesnt stack up. Could do with another top 10 at least on record for historys ske. As much as the hype around him now, If Deontay was to go and lose his next fight Tysons record will be 3 wins (its 3) against Wilder who never beat anyone world class himself apart from an old ass Ortiz and that one terrible fight in Germany against the 9 year champ which ws never rematched because of Tysons own problems. I love Fury so want to see him go down as more than Just the WIlder Trilogy but Usyk Fury is the one we gotta hope happens. |
