JKing92 07.17.21	Linkin Park fall into my "meh" category. Chester had a great voice, and they had some decent songs ("In the End," "Somewhere I Belong"), but songs like "Crawling" and "Papercuts" offered up little more than overly familiar hard rock with rapped vocals and pop hooks. Oh well...

ghostalgeist 07.17.21	nah i actually love hybrid theory as trashy as it is. it's the perfect level of warm trash, same for meteora. the sentiment and heart actually help bulk up otherwise generic nu-metal / rap rock and turn it essential 2000's edgelord rock. there's a reason these guys are anime AMV legends, and every young person at the time loved them for good reason

Supercoolguy64 07.17.21	Yeah, a little. I won’t lie when half my enjoyment comes from nostalgia factor, but they were seriously good pop writers and had a knack for a good hook. I say it is easier to enjoy them under those lens then seeing them as a “metal” band.

Other records are fine but ATS is their masterpiece and songs like Waiting for the End, When They Come For Me or The Catalyst are pop rap rock masterpieces.
