04.03.21 | zak - I need to listen to the earlier Ben Howard stuff but I did spin 'End of the Affair' two days ago and I still feel I prefer his newer stuff, less Damien Rice'y. For closing instrumental guitar wig outs I prefer the Strand of Oaks too
anatelier - 'Mecca' is a 5 star tune and did consider it but again that album is less about highlights for me, that Ought album I need to return to, haven't listened to it in years now. 'Beautiful Blue Sky' is currently qualifying for the next list but need to re-listen to a few things first. 'Seasons' was the first song I heard from Future Islands so there's that too, still one of their best songs for me
