04.01.21 | If we work at one list a day and you're going up to 89 and I'm coming down from 89 in about a week's time looks like we'll both be doing 1984 or 85 at the same time :D |

04.01.21 | Nice, looks like our lists have a decent amount of overlap, and there'd probably be more of I wasn't limiting myself to the big hits!
I will say that if I had to put any song from Zep 3 on here I'd pick Since I Been Loving You but Immigrant Song is v good too :) |

04.01.21 | @Ars I would've done the Naked version of Let It Be over this one but it wasn't released in 1970 so...
That and I also don't mind Phil Spector's production that much. He really murdered the original concept though. The song and the album definitely are not for everybody, it really seemed like Spector was hired last minute so he just took a shot in the dark at what sounds good at the time. It's still good, but you can see why McCartney felt Spector killed the concept. |

04.02.21 | I actually covered this year, here are my picks:
1. Linda Perhacs - Chimacum Rain
2. Os Mutantes - Ando Meio Desligado
3. Black Sabbath - Paranoid
4. The Beatles - Across the Universe
5. MC5 - Looking at You
6. Simon & Garfunkel - The Boxer
7. Bobby Hutcherson - Hello to the Wind
8. Black Sabbath - N.I.B.
9. Amon Düül II - Archangel Thunderbird
10. Atomic Rooster - Winter
Good picks though, Immigrant Song could easily be top 10 for me too, and also Black Magic Woman. Great year. |
