Japanese recs?

It’s hard for me to get into a lot of Japanese rock / metal bands because i’m not a big fan of Visual Kei (though there are exceptions) and that seems to be a majority of the bands... but i’d very much like to get into some stuff that’s more up my alley.

Uroboros (Remastered & Expanded)

I’m trying to find stuff with a fantastic sense of atmosphere, something like this that is both melodic and crushing, and has an undercurrent of sinister tones. Something that has the same vibe as a J-horror film.
