I'm at the point where I know I have to just get tf outta dodge. the people in my area are overwhelmingly ignorant and hateful, even before the past 4yrs, and the idea of a future here feels impossible. leaving most of my friends, family, and connections behind is gut-wrenching, but staying here would be the dagger to my mental health, and life. just can't keep smoking weed and finding distractions

Kusangii 01.27.21	Thanks guys. I appreciate the kinds words. For the record, my post has absolutely no relation to the current pandemic whatsoever. I've been isolating myself for about 10 years now. Not in a row, and not all the time, but yeah. It started 10 years ago and is still going. I don't think I truly trust a single human being on earth to 100% sadly.

combustion07 01.28.21	Wise words from Radio. Keep your head up man. I know that doesn't mean much when it's hard to find the will too though. Definitely feel you on the isolation aspect. I love my alone time for the most part but sometimes it gets to be too much
ieatbabies795 01.28.21	I’m bad at giving advice but I think you can use this time to give a lot of self reflection, ask what you want to be, where you want to be.. If you’ve distanced yourself from people that are not supportive then don’t feel guilt over that. Distancing from toxic people can improve ur mental health. Give yourself self love, like Radio said The cliche thing to say is exercise but don’t think of it as being motivated to workout, look at it as disciplining yourself. When I go out to run/workout I wouldn’t say I feel “motivated”, so instead I think of it as a thing I must do for my own good. Thinking of it that way helped me have better consistency exercising. Exercise can help get out your pent up energy/aggressions in a positive way and helps clear your mind
AsleepInTheBack 01.28.21	Agreed. I find that I tend not to ever want to leave the house and have little motivation to do so, but as soon as I get outside and walk or run somewhere remotely green I end up feeling immeasurably better.

JayEnder 01.28.21	I hate my life sometimes too. We're in this together man. Keep your head up and involve yourself with the things you love. Find a good comedy to watch, laughter is the best remedy for depression I've learned. And stay the hell off social media. I'm sure all of us are sick and tired of the political animosity and hatred going on. Social isolation is brutal, and the past year has taken a toll on even the most hopeful of people. Hang in there dude! I know exactly how you feel. Shits been hard for me long before 2020.
