The only problem was when the lockdown ended and I had to return to working at the office, she pined for weeks. My current one is a cross between a siamese and a Himalayan so he has the colouring and blue eyes of a Himalayan but with the structure of a siamese (no flat face lmao). He looks like a husky or a wolf but cat form. I wish I could tell him how expensive he looks. |

I get chronic utis, likely from a misdiagnosed kidney infection that I had in 2016. the doctor told me "men don't get kidney infections" pumped me full of std meds and put me on my way( fun convo ensued with my partner at the time who I was with for 4 years, don't accuse women of cheating folks). this only made me more sick so they made me go get a blood test ohhh the week after. I passed out in the blood testing waiting room due to having a fever of 104. they did a ct scan and found a -you guessed it-severe kidney infection. could not walk for a month and was on penicillin for 6 months. haven't really drank alcohol since! |

Its been so strange for me to see as I lve basically on my own working night shifts for 8/10 months of the year in a very beautiful place but miles away from shows/family/friends for like 10 years. So I became super pissed a few years ago if friends woudlnt text back etc etc because you are missing it whether you admit it or not but Ive kinda gotten used to it now and I actually enjoy it. Now watching my friends break down after just a few weeks of , as said, that lack of social inter action reminds me I wasnt being a puss and its actually a norm. |

I am very much a loner, though since work has shifted online I suppose those small interactions I would get everyday are things I took for granted. also that occasional "hey it's midnight on a Friday think ill go to the bar and get a cranberry juice and chat with strangers" is a thing of the past. those do add up. I enjoy my alone time but being completely isolated as many are now is new and uncomfortable for most, and is causing depression and more suicides |

I had been in practice for years so its nothing really new to me. I miles from anywhere. Haha Its really not man. I basically just do night security/porter in a hotel that legit looks like the hotel in the shining and more remote. Its beautiful. Theres no need for security though as no one steals anything up here everyone leaves doors open and shit. Its just incase theres a fire, someone needs a doc etc etc. Its real easy work. Spend most the night listening to music or just watching something on my laptop. Can save a good wod of cash for a season cos theres nothing to waste mo ey on up here and then get 4-6 months off to travel the world/catch up with friends/shows and chill (more like 3/4 months now..it used to be 5!)the Jobs always here when I get back. Theres legit dolphins jumping around in the bay in front of the hotel and pink sunsets and shit every day mountains and lochs everywhere. Id never be able to afford to live somewhere like here so im good with it. Ive never been a hard worker or a career guy. Lucky im not stuck in a warehouse job in a town i fking hate tbh but you gotta weigh all that up against the isolation and loneliness,as said. |
