| Kvass time
I made kvass today for the first time. Broken some golden rules by using brioche bread instead of dark rye and blackberries instead of raisins (well, various fruits can be used but raisins are pretty traditional) in hopes to make a sweeter more interesting kvass. It turned out alright. Could be a little sweeter and use maybe a bit more fermentation (I was going for something lighter but I added stuff like cinnamon which I think maybe could paired better with a darker Kvass). Also for those who dont know kvass is a drink created in Rus (the og Russua) that is popular overall in slavic countries, i.e Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, what have you. Just jammed this. Really hard to pin point but I guess it's like old school black metal meets space rock meets medieval synths? There's punkish barks that lay atop epic yet crunchy riffs that segway into actual narrated storytelling segments.
